Biography

“I currently work as the editor for Kitesurf and SUP International pring mags. I work from home which is in Newquay, Cornwall so this allows me to get in the sea a lot, and between the kite, SUP and surfboard, there’s always something going on. A couple of years ago I realised that there is more potential around here than people realise, and this led me to focus on chasing the cold Atlantic swells that pound our coastline.

After an educational six-week stint in Hawaii this winter, I’m more focussed than ever to keep pushing my experiences in the Celtic Altantic waves. We’ve had an incredible winter and spring, and with the broader horizon that embracing multi-displine brings, we’ve been enjoying great waves in places and on days that most people aren’t bothering to look. I’ve got a couple of specific offshore waves in mind that I am focussed on for this year. One could break any day of the week, the other requires rather a lot of swell to start it capping but we know what we are looking for and whilst they haven’t been ridden before, I’m sure they will both be conquered with the kite!”
