2010 has been an interesting year with a fair few hiccups and changes, but now Jim is back doing what he loves (and hopefully does to a reasonable standard!)…. coaching and instructor training!
Jim is running courses all over the UK at the moment for Clubs and groups of like-minded people. It has been a great summer for UK windsurfing and to see the revival of the Club atmosphere. Jim also hopes to back abroad again soon running coaching course in some of his favourite destinations such as Dahab and El Tur in Egypt, Tenerife, Morocco and possibly Borocay in the Phillippines… please visit www.windsurfevolution.co.uk for more dates and locations
Jim is also back running RYA instructor training courses….beginner instructor, intermediate instructor and advanced instructor courses are being run all over the UK this year like a fury!! Please contact Jim on jim@windsurfevolution.co.uk for more details
Spartan wetsuits are still keeping Jim warm in the slightly fresh UK waters, and their rash vest range have been keeping him cool and on his game on some of those scorching days that we’ve had this past summer.
Despite rumours about Jim disappearing off the windsurfing scene due to his Paramedic training and past illness, this is far from the truth! The only effect is his resigning from being Test Editor for Windsurf Magazine, which he had done for 5 years and felt it was time to hand the mantle over to someone else anyway. He is still very much running courses in the UK, and his Paramedic training is slotting in nicely beside his career a a coach and instructor trainer.
