Biography

Aqua Sports is a lake based operation Near Redhill, run by the mighty indefatigable Sam. At Aqua Sports we teach Windsurfing, Dinghy Sailing & Paddlesports, and over the past 15 year of operation have qualified many many thousands in the three sports we run, including Instructor Training.

Although a qualified instructor I work behind the scenes with my Dewalt power tools and Apple laptop, creating many things from wood and steel and of course the website, brochure & marketing materials (& now Sage which is not fun!!). Sam, well what doesn’t she do when not coaching RYA instructor training courses and planning world domination…!

We’ll be off to South Africa again for some erm, so called ‘training’ for seven weeks in Jan Feb. We both love the waves and sail as many locations as possible from Whitsands to Patternoster searching for the best conditions. We have also just got back from a week in Paros, scoring a couple of days sailing, and run an Aqua Sports trip to Dahab in May for some fun tuition, blasting & freestyle.

Sam is rippin’ it up in the waves on her new RRD wave twin fin & North Ego combo, & now achieving some respectable freestyle manoeuvres on her Tabou. I’m cracking away at Flakkas when on flat water or otherwise joining Sam in the waves.

Back in England we mainly sail Shoreham, Worthing & Hove on the South Coast, occasionally venturing further when conditions are right, of course snug in our Spartans. For us it’s all about the windsurfing and the lifestyle that permits us to roam the world sailing awesome location – long may that last!
